Anuncian en la Universidad de Wellington en Nueva Zelanda el Doctorado en Diseño. Vale la pena ver con detenimiento sus proyectos de investigación para saber elegir bien  al/a supervisor/a de tesis. Primero, que los temas de tu interés se manejen en ese grupo, y segundo, que su nivel sea el adecuado.

Cubre costos del programa y gastos de manutención, por montos hasta por $228,500 dólares. Con la economía local esto equivale verdaderamente a sacarse la lotería!

Los requisitos de forma general:

• a record of high-level academic achievement in the applicant’s chosen field of study;
• a well defined study or research program;
• a proposal that is relevant to the needs and interests of Australia and the applicant’s home country;
• the applicant’s potential to foster ongoing collaboration and cooperation with Australia and potential to participate at a high level in the academic or wider community in their home country
• on return from Australia, and outstanding community service or civic participation that has benefited your community*

Hago énfasis en los puntos que considero que muchos solicitantes descuidan. Y una nota sobre el requisito de trabajo comunitario:

"The selection panel will be looking for applicants who are more than ‘mere bookworms’. Your intellectual talents need to be combined with care and concern for others. You need to demonstrate how you have used your skills to benefit your community or country. Evidence, in the form of your stories, is more valuable and interesting than mere adjectives."
